LORD, do not rebuke me in your anger

discipline me in your wrath.

guilt has overwhelmed me
like
a burden too heavy to bear.

wounds fester and are loathsome

The
mountains of Bashan are majestic mountains;

Why
gaze in envy, O rugged mountains,

the mountain where God chooses to reign,
where
the LORD himself will dwell forever?

The
chariots of God are tens of thousands
and
thousands of thousands;
the
Lord has come from Sinai into his sanctuary.

When
you ascended on high,
you
led captives in your train;
you
received gifts from men,
even

the rebellious--
that
you, F
O LORD God, might dwell there.

Praise
be to the Lord, to God our Savior,
who
daily bears our burdens.

Our
God is a God who saves;
from

Lord says, "I
will bring them from Bashan;

front are the singers, after them the musicians;

the LORD in the assembly of Israel.

is the little tribe of Benjamin, leading them,

Summon
your power, O God G;
show

of your temple at Jerusalem
kings
will bring you gifts.

Rebuke
the beast among the reeds,

Sing
to the LORD a new song,
for
he has done marvelous things;
his
right hand and his holy arm
have
worked salvation for him.

The
LORD has made his salvation known
and
revealed his righteousness to the nations.

He
has remembered his love
and
his faithfulness to the house of Israel;
all
the ends of the earth have seen
the
salvation of our God.

Shout
for joy to the LORD, all the earth,
burst
into jubilant song with music;

make
music to the LORD with the harp,
with
the harp and the sound of singing,

with
trumpets and the blast of the ram's horn--

Does
not understanding raise her voice?

On
the heights along the way,
where
the paths meet, she takes her stand;

beside
the gates leading into the city,

the entrances, she cries aloud:

"To
you, O men, I call out;
I
raise my voice to all mankind.

You
who are simple, gain prudence;
you
who are foolish, gain understanding.

Listen,
for I have worthy things to say;

open my lips to speak what is right.

My
mouth speaks what is true,
for
my lips detest wickedness.

All
the words of my mouth are just;
none

a place where gold is refined.

Iron
is taken from the earth,
and
copper is smelted from ore.

Man
puts an end to the darkness;
he
searches the farthest recesses
for
ore in the blackest darkness.

Far
from where people dwell he cuts a shaft,
in
places forgotten by the foot of man;
far
from men he dangles and sways.
5
The
earth, from which food comes,
is
transformed below as by fire;
6
sapphires

come from its rocks,
and
its dust contains nuggets of gold.

No
bird of prey knows that hidden path,
no
falcon's eye has seen it.

Proud
beasts do not set foot on it,
and
no lion prowls there.

Man's
hand assaults the flinty rock

Terrors
overwhelm me;

when I went to Troas to preach the gospel of Christ and found that
the Lord had opened a door for me, 13

still had no peace of mind, because I did not find my brother Titus
there. So I said good-by to them and went on to Macedonia.

But
thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in
Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the
knowledge of him. 15
For
we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and
those who are perishing. 16
To
the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of
life. And who is equal to such a task? 17
Unlike
so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the
contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, like men sent
from God. 22

John 3:16-21 16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, F that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.G 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."
