PSALMS: 15
1 LORD, who shall dwell in your sanctuary?
Who shall live on your holy hill?
2 He who walks blamelessly, does what is right,
And speaks truth in his heart;
3 He who doesn't slander with his tongue,
Nor does evil to his friend,
Nor casts slurs against his fellow man;
4 In whose eyes a vile man is despised,
But who honors those who fear the LORD;
He who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and doesn't change;
5 He who doesn't lend out his money for usury,
Nor take a bribe against the innocent.
He who does these things shall never be shaken.
PSALMS: 45
1 My heart overflows with a noble theme.
I recite my verses for the king.
My tongue is like the pen of a skillful writer.
2 You are the most excellent of the sons of men.
Grace has anointed your lips,
Therefore God has blessed you forever.
3 Gird your sword on your thigh, mighty one,
Your splendor and your majesty.
4 In your majesty ride on victoriously on behalf of truth, humility, and righteousness. Let your right hand display awesome deeds.
5 Your arrows are sharp.
The nations fall under you, with arrows in the heart of the king's enemies.
6 Your throne, God, is forever and ever.
A scepter of equity is the scepter of your kingdom.
7 You have loved righteousness, and hated wickedness.
Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil
of gladness above your fellows.
8 All your garments smell like myrrh, aloes, and cassia.
Out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made you glad.
9 Kings' daughters are among your honorable women.
At your right hand the queen stands in gold of Ofir.
10 Listen, daughter, consider, and turn your ear.
Forget your own people, and also your father's house.
11 So will the king desire your beauty,
Honor him, for he is your lord.
12 The daughter of Tzor comes with a gift.
The rich among the people entreat your favor.
13 The princess inside is all glorious.
Her clothing is interwoven with gold.
14 She shall be led to the king in embroidered work.
The virgins, her companions who follow her, shall be brought to you.
15 With gladness and rejoicing shall they be led.
They shall enter into the king's palace.
16 Your sons will take the place of your fathers.
You shall make them princes in all the eretz.
17 I will make your name to be remembered in all generations.
Therefore the peoples shall give you thanks forever and ever.
PSALMS: 75
1 We give thanks to you, God,
We give thanks, for your Name is near.
Men tell about your wondrous works.
2 When I choose the appointed time,
I will judge blamelessly.
3 The eretz and all its inhabitants quake.
I firmly hold its pillars. Selah.
4 I said to the arrogant,
"Don't boast;"
To the wicked,
"Don't lift up the horn.
5 Don't lift up your horn on high.
Don't speak with a stiff neck."
6 For neither from the east, nor from the west,
Nor yet from the south, comes exaltation.
7 But God is the judge.
He puts down one, and lifts up another.
8 For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup,
Full of foaming wine mixed with spices.
He pours it out.
Indeed the wicked of the eretz drink and drink it to its very dregs.
9 But I will declare this forever:
I will sing praises to the God of Ya`akov.
10 I will cut off all the horns of the wicked,
But the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up.
PSALMS: 105
1 Give thanks to the LORD!
Call on his name! Make his doings known among the peoples.
2 Sing to him, sing praises to him!
Tell of all his marvelous works.
3 Glory in his holy name.
Let the heart of them rejoice who seek the LORD.
4 Seek the LORD and his strength.
Seek his face forever more.
5 Remember his marvelous works that he has done;
His wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,
6 You seed of Avraham, his servant,
You children of Ya`akov, his chosen ones.
7 He is the LORD, our God.
His judgments are in all the eretz.
8 He has remembered his covenant forever,
The word which he commanded to a thousand generations,
9 The covenant which he made with Avraham,
His oath to Yitzchak,
10 And confirmed the same to Ya`akov for a statute;
To Yisra'el for an everlasting covenant,
11 Saying, "To you I will give the land of Kana`an,
The lot of your inheritance;"
12 When they were but a few men in number,
Yes, very few, and sojourners in it.
13 They went about from nation to nation,
From one kingdom to another people.
14 He allowed no one to do them wrong.
Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,
15 "Don't touch my anointed ones.
Do my prophets no harm."
16 He called for a famine on the land.
He destroyed the food supplies.
17 He sent a man before them.
Yosef was sold for a slave.
18 They bruised his feet with shackles.
His neck was locked in irons,
19 Until the time that his word happened,
And the LORD's word proved him true.
20 The king sent and freed him;
Even the ruler of peoples, and let him go free.
21 He made him lord of his house,
And ruler of all of his possessions;
22 To discipline his princes at his pleasure,
And to teach his Zakenim wisdom.
23 Yisra'el also came into Mitzrayim.
Ya`akov sojourned in the land of Ham.
24 He increased his people greatly,
And made them stronger than their adversaries.
25 He turned their heart to hate his people,
To conspire against his servants.
26 He sent Moshe, his servant,
And Aharon, whom he had chosen.
27 They performed miracles among them,
And wonders in the land of Ham.
28 He sent darkness, and made it dark.
They didn't rebel against his words.
29He turned their waters into blood,
And killed their fish.
30 Their land swarmed with frogs,
Even in the chambers of their kings.
31 He spoke, and swarms of flies came, ‘
And lice in all their borders.
32 He gave them hail for rain,
With lightning in their land.
33 He struck their vines and also their fig trees,
And shattered the trees of their country.
34 He spoke, and the locusts came,
And the grasshoppers, without number,
35 Ate up every plant in their land;
Ate up the fruit of their ground.
36 He struck also all the firstborn in their land,
The chief of all their strength.
37 He brought them forth with silver and gold.
There was not one feeble person among his tribes.
38Mitzrayim was glad when they departed,
For the fear of them had fallen on them.
39 He spread a cloud for a covering,
Fire to give light in the night.
40 They asked, and he brought quails,
And satisfied them with the bread of the sky.
41 He opened the rock, and waters gushed out.
They ran as a river in the dry places.
42 For he remembered his holy word,
And Avraham, his servant.
43 He brought forth his people with joy,
His chosen with singing.
44 He gave them the lands of the nations.
They took the labor of the peoples in possession,
45 That they might keep his statutes,
And observe his laws.

PSALMS: 135
1 Praise the LORD!
Praise the name of the LORD!
Praise him, you servants of the LORD,
2 You who stand in the house of the LORD,
In the courts of our God's house.
3 Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good.
Sing praises to his name, for that is pleasant.
4 For the LORD has chosen Ya`akov for himself;
Yisra'el for his own possession.
5 For I know that the LORD is great,
That our Lord is above all gods.
6 Whatever the LORD pleased, that he has done,
In heaven and in eretz, in the seas and in all deeps;
7 Who causes the clouds to rise from the ends of the eretz;
Who makes lightnings with the rain;
Who brings forth the wind out of his treasuries;
8 Who struck the firstborn of Mitzrayim,
Both of man and animal;
9 Who sent signs and wonders into the midst of you,
Mitzrayim,
On Par`oh, and on all his servants;
10 Who struck many nations,
And killed mighty kings,
11 Sichon king of the Amori, `Og king of Bashan,
All the kingdoms of Kana`an,
12 And gave their land for a heritage,
A heritage to Yisra'el, his people.
13 Your name, LORD, endures forever;
Your renown, LORD, throughout all generations.
14 For the LORD will judge his people,
And have compassion on his servants.
15 The idols of the nations are silver and gold,
The work of men's hands.
16 They have mouths, but they can't speak;
They have eyes, but they can't see;
17 They have ears, but they can't hear;
Neither is there any breath in their mouths.
18 Those who make them will be like them;
Yes, everyone who trusts in them.
19 House of Yisra'el, praise the LORD!
House of Aharon, praise the LORD!
20House of Levi, praise the LORD!
You who fear the LORD, praise the LORD!
21 Blessed be the LORD from Tziyon,
Who dwells at Yerushalayim. Praise the LORD!
PROVERBS: 15
1 A gentle answer turns away wrath,
But a harsh word stirs up anger.
2 The tongue of the wise commends knowledge,
But the mouth of fools gush out folly.
3 The LORD's eyes are everywhere,
Keeping watch on the evil and the good.
4 A gentle tongue is a tree of life,
But deceit in it crushes the spirit.
5 A fool despises his father's correction,
But he who heeds reproof shows prudence.
6 In the house of the righteous is much treasure,
But the income of the wicked brings trouble.
7 The lips of the wise spread knowledge;
Not so with the heart of fools.
8 The sacrifice made by the wicked is an abomination to the LORD,
But the prayer of the upright is his delight.
9 The way of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD,
But he loves him who follows after righteousness.
10 There is stern discipline for one who forsakes the way:
Whoever hates reproof shall die.
11 She'ol and Avaddon are before the LORD --
How much more then the hearts of the children of men!
12 A scoffer doesn't love to be reproved;
He will not go to the wise.
13 A glad heart makes a cheerful face;
But an aching heart breaks the spirit.
14 The heart of one who has understanding seeks knowledge,
But the mouths of fools feed on folly.
15 All the days of the afflicted are wretched,
But one who has a cheerful heart enjoys a continual feast.
16 Better is little, with the fear of the LORD,
Than great treasure with trouble.
17 Better is a dinner of herbs, where love is,
Than a fattened calf with hatred.
18 A wrathful man stirs up contention,
But one who is slow to anger appeases strife.
19 The way of the sluggard is like a thorn patch,
But the path of the upright is a highway.
20 A wise son makes a father glad,
But a foolish man despises his mother.
21 Folly is joy to one who is void of wisdom,
But a man of understanding keeps his way straight.
22 Where there is no counsel, plans fail;
But in a multitude of counselors they are established.
23 Joy comes to a man with the reply of his mouth.
How good is a word at the right time!
24 The path of life leads upward for the wise,
To keep him from going downward to She'ol.
25 The LORD will uproot the house of the proud,
But he will keep the widow's borders intact.
26 The LORD detests the thoughts of the wicked,
But the thoughts of the pure are pleasing.
27 He who is greedy for gain troubles his own house,
But he who hates bribes will live.
28 The heart of the righteous weighs answers,
But the mouth of the wicked gushes out evil.
29 The LORD is far from the wicked,
But he hears the prayer of the righteous.
30 The light of the eyes rejoices the heart.
Good news gives health to the bones.
31 The ear that listens to the reproof lives,
And will be at home among the wise.
32 He who refuses correction despises his own soul,
But he who listens to reproof gets understanding.
33 The fear of the LORD teaches wisdom.
Before honor is humility.
OLD TESTAMENT: 2 CHRONICLES 35:1 - 36:23
35:1 Yoshiyahu kept a Pesach to the LORD in Yerushalayim: and they killed the Pesach on the fourteenth [day] of the first month. 2 He set the Kohanim in their offices, and encouraged them to the service of the house of the LORD. 3 He said to the Levites who taught all Yisra'el, who were holy to the LORD, Put the holy ark in the house which Shlomo the son of David king of Yisra'el did build; there shall no more be a burden on your shoulders: now serve the LORD your God, and his people Yisra'el. 4 Prepare yourselves after your fathers' houses by your courses, according to the writing of David king of Yisra'el, and according to the writing of Shlomo his son. 5 Stand in the holy place according to the divisions of the fathers' houses of your brothers the children of the people, and [let there be for each] a portion of a fathers' house of the Levites. 6 Kill the Pesach, and sanctify yourselves, and prepare for your brothers, to do according to the word of the LORD by Moshe. 7 Yoshiyahu gave to the children of the people, of the flock, lambs and kids, all of them for the Pesach offerings, to all who were present, to the number of thirty thousand, and three thousand bulls: these were of the king's substance. 8 His princes gave for a freewill- offering to the people, to the Kohanim, and to the Levites. Hilkiyah and Zekharyah and Yechi'el, the rulers of the house of God, gave to the Kohanim for the Pesach offerings two thousand and six hundred [small cattle], and three hundred oxen. 9 Kananyahu also, and Shemayah and Netan'el, his brothers, and Hashavyah and Ye`i'el and Yozavad, the chiefs of the Levites, gave to the Levites for the Pesach offerings five thousand [small cattle], and five hundred oxen. 10 So the service was prepared, and the Kohanim stood in their place, and the Levites by their courses, according to the king's mitzvah. 11 They killed the Pesach, and the Kohanim sprinkled [the blood which they received] of their hand, and the Levites flayed them. 12 They removed the burnt offerings, that they might give them according to the divisions of the fathers' houses of the children of the people, to offer to the LORD, as it is written in the book of Moshe. So did they with the oxen. 13 They roasted the Pesach with fire according to the ordinance: and the holy offerings boiled they in pots, and in caldrons, and in pans, and carried them quickly to all the children of the people. 14 Afterward they prepared for themselves, and for the Kohanim, because the Kohanim the sons of Aharon [were busied] in offering the burnt offerings and the fat until night: therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the Kohanim the sons of Aharon. 15 The singers the sons of Asaf were in their place, according to the mitzvah of David, and Asaf, and Heman, and Yedutun the king's seer; and the porters were at every gate: they didn't need to depart from their service; for their brothers the Levites prepared for them. 16 So all the service of the LORD was prepared the same day, to keep the Pesach, and to offer burnt-offerings on the altar of the LORD, according to the mitzvah of king Yoshiyahu. 17 The children of Yisra'el who were present kept the Pesach at that time, and the feast of matzah seven days. 18 There was no Pesach like that kept in Yisra'el from the days of Shemu'el the prophet; neither did any of the kings of Yisra'el keep such a Pesach as Yoshiyahu kept, and the Kohanim, and the Levites, and all Yehudah and Yisra'el who were present, and the inhabitants of Yerushalayim. 19 In the eighteenth year of the reign of Yoshiyahu was this Pesach kept. 20 After all this, when Yoshiyahu had prepared the temple, Nekho king of Mitzrayim went up to fight against Karkemish by the Perat: and Yoshiyahu went out against him. 21 But he sent ambassadors to him, saying, What have I to do with you, you king of Yehudah? [I come] not against you this day, but against the house with which I have war; and God has commanded me to make haste: forbear you from [meddling with] God, who is with me, that he not destroy you. 22 Nevertheless Yoshiyahu would not turn his face from him, but disguised himself, that he might fight with him, and didn't listen to the words of Nekho from the mouth of God, and came to fight in the valley of Megiddo. 23 The archers shot at king Yoshiyahu; and the king said to his servants, Have me away; for I am sore wounded. 24 So his servants took him out of the chariot, and put him in the second chariot that he had, and brought him to Yerushalayim; and he died, and was buried in the tombs of his fathers. All Yehudah and Yerushalayim mourned for Yoshiyahu. 25 Yirmeyahu lamented for Yoshiyahu: and all the singing men and singing women spoke of Yoshiyahu in their lamentations to this day; and they made them an ordinance in Yisra'el: and, behold, they are written in the lamentations. 26 Now the rest of the acts of Yoshiyahu, and his good deeds, according to that which is written in the law of the LORD, 27 and his acts, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Yisra'el and Yehudah.
36:1 Then the people of the land took Yeho'achaz the son of Yoshiyahu, and made him king in his father's place in Yerushalayim. 2 Yo'achaz was twenty-three years old when he began to reign; and he reigned three months in Yerushalayim. 3 The king of Mitzrayim deposed him at Yerushalayim, and fined the land one hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold. 4 The king of Mitzrayim made Elyakim his brother king over Yehudah and Yerushalayim, and changed his name to Yehoiakim. Nekho took Yo'achaz his brother, and carried him to Mitzrayim. 5 Yehoiakim was Twenty-five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned eleven years in Yerushalayim: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD his God. 6 Against him came up Nevukhadnetztzar king of Bavel, and bound him in fetters, to carry him to Bavel. 7 Nevukhadnetztzar also carried of the vessels of the house of the LORD to Bavel, and put them in his temple at Bavel. 8 Now the rest of the acts of Yehoiakim, and his abominations which he did, and that which was found in him, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Yisra'el and Yehudah: and Yehoiakim his son reigned in his place. 9 Yehoiakim was eight years old when he began to reign; and he reigned three months and ten days in Yerushalayim: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD. 10At the return of the year king Nevukhadnetztzar sent, and brought him to Bavel, with the goodly vessels of the house of the LORD, and made Tzidkiyahu his brother king over Yehudah and Yerushalayim.
11 Tzidkiyahu was twenty-one years old when he began to reign; and he reigned eleven years in Yerushalayim: 12 and he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD his God; he didn't humble himself before Yirmeyahu the prophet [speaking] from the mouth of the LORD. 13 He also rebelled against king Nevukhadnetztzar, who had made him swear by God: but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart against turning to the LORD, the God of Yisra'el. 14 Moreover all the chiefs of the Kohanim, and the people, trespassed very greatly after all the abominations of the nations; and they polluted the house of the LORD which he had made holy in Yerushalayim. 15 The LORD, the God of their fathers, sent to them by his messengers, rising up early and sending, because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling-place: 16 but they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and scoffed at his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, until there was no remedy. 17 Therefore he brought on them the king of the Kasdim, who killed their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion on young man or virgin, old man or gray-headed: he gave them all into his hand. 18 All the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes, all these he brought to Bavel. 19 They burnt the house of God, and broke down the wall of Yerushalayim, and burnt all the palaces of it with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels of it. 20 Those who had escaped from the sword carried he away to Bavel; and they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Paras: 21 to fulfill the word of the LORD by the mouth of Yirmeyahu, until the land had enjoyed its Shabbatot: [for] as long as it lay desolate it kept Shabbat, to fulfill seventy years. 22 Now in the first year of Koresh king of Paras, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Yirmeyahu might be accomplished, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Koresh king of Paras, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and [put it] also in writing, saying, 23 Thus says Koresh king of Paras, All the kingdoms of the eretz has the LORD, the God of heaven, given me; and he has charged me to build him a house in Yerushalayim, which is in Yehudah. Whoever there is among you of all his people, the LORD his God be with him, and let him go up.
NEW TESTAMENT: 1 CORINTHIANS 1:1 - 17
1:1 Sha'ul, called to be an apostle of Yeshua the Messiah through the will of God, and our brother Sosthenes,
2 to the assembly of God which is at Corinth; those who are sanctified in Messiah Yeshua, called to be holy ones, with all who call on the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah in every place, both theirs and ours:
3 Grace to you and shalom from God our Father and the Lord Yeshua the Messiah.
4 I always thank my God concerning you, for the grace of God which was given you in Messiah Yeshua;
5 that in everything you were enriched in him, in all speech and all knowledge;
6 even as the testimony of Messiah was confirmed in you:
7 so that you come behind in no gift; waiting for the revelation of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah;
8 who will also confirm you until the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.
9 God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Yeshua the Messiah, our Lord.
10 Now I beg you, brothers, through the name of our Lord, Yeshua the Messiah, that you all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
11 For it has been reported to me concerning you, my brothers, by those who are from Chloe's household, that there are contentions among you.
12 Now I mean this, that each one of you says, "I follow Sha'ul," "I follow Apollos," "I follow Kefa," and, "I follow Messiah."
13 Is Messiah divided? Was Sha'ul crucified for you? Or were you immersed into the name of Sha'ul?
14 I thank God that I immersed none of you, except Crispus and Gaius,
15 so that no one should say that I had immersed you into my own name.
16 (I also immersed the household of Stephanas; besides them, I don't know whether I immersed any other.)
17 For Messiah sent me not to immerse, but to preach the Good News -- not in wisdom of words, so that the cross of Messiah wouldn't be made void.

4 דרשו את ה' ואת כוחו. בקשו פניו עוד.

9 את הברית אשר כרת את אברהם,
את שבועתו ליצחק,
10 ואת חוקה אישר ליעקב,
לישראל לברית עולם,
11 לאמור, "לך אתן את ארץ כנען,
את חלק נחלתך";
12 כאשר היו מעט אנשים במספר,
כן מעטים מאוד וגרים בה.
13 הלכו מגוי לגוי,
מממלכה אחת לעם אחר.
14 לא נתן לאיש לעשות להם רע,
כן גער במלכים למענם,
15 "אל תגעו במשחיי,
אל תרעו לנביאיי."
16 וקרא רעב בארץ,
ואשם את מקורות המזון. יז שלח איש לפניהם. יוסף נמכר לעבד.
יח ויחבטו את רגליו באזיקים.
צוארו היה נעול בברזל.
19 עד עת אשר נהיה דברו,
והוכח דבר ה' אמת.
20 שלח המלך וישחררו;
ומושל עמים, וישלחו חפשי.
21 ונתנו לאדון ביתו,
ומושל על כל רכושו;
22 למוסר שריו כרצונו,
וללמדו זקני חכמה.
23 גם ישראל בא מצרים.
יעקב גר בארץ חם.
24 ורבה את עמו מאוד,
וחזקם מצוריהם.
25 הפך את לבם לשנאת עמו,
לקשר קשר על עבדיו. 26 שלח את משה עבדו,
ואת אהרן אשר בחר.
27 והם עשו נסים,
ומופתים בארץ חם.
28 שלח חושך והחשיך.
לא מרדו בדבריו.
29היה הפך את מימיהם לדם,
והרג את דגיהם.
30 תשרץ ארצם צפרדעים,
ואף בחדרי מלכיהם.
31 הוא דיבר, ויבואו נחילי זבובים,
וכינים בכל גבולם.
32 נתן להם ברד תחת גשם,
ובברקים בארצם.
33 הכה את גפניהם ואת תאנתם,
וניתץ את עצי ארצם.
34 הוא דיבר, ויבוא ארבה,
וחגבים אין מספר,
35 אכלו כל צמח בארצם;
אכלו פרי אדמתם.
36 והכה כל בכור בארצם,
את ראש כל כוחם.
37 הוציאם בכסף ובזהב.
לא היה חלש אחד בשבטיו.
38מצרים שמחו בצאתם,
כי פחדם נפל עליהם.
39 פרש ענן לכסות,
אש להאיר בלילה.
40 שאלו ויביא שליו,
וישבעם בלחם שמים.
41 פתח צור ומים זרמו.
יהלכו כנהר בצחיחות.

הברית הישנה: דברי הימים ב' לה:א - לו:כג
לה:א ויעשיהו פסח לה' בירושלים וישחטו את הפסח בארבעה עשר לחודש הראשון. ב ויעמד את הכוהנים בתפקידם ויעודדם לעבודת בית ה'. ג ויאמר ללוים המלמדים את כל ישראל הקדושים לה' שימו את ארון הקודש בבית אשר בנה שלמה בן דוד מלך ישראל ולא יהיה עוד משא על כתפיכם. עתה עבדו את ה' אלהיכם ואת עמו ישראל. ד הכינו את עצמכם לפי בתי אבותיכם לפי מחלקותיכם ככתב דוד מלך ישראל וככתב שלמה בנו. ה עמדו במקום הקודש לפי מחלקות אבות אחיכם בני העם, וחלק לבית אבות הלווים יהיה לכל אחד. ו שחטו את הפסח, וקדשו את עצמכם, והכינו לאחיכם לעשות כדבר ה' ביד משה. ז ויתן יאשיהו לבני העם צאן, כבשים וגדיים, את כלם לפסח, לכל הנוכחים, שלושים אלף, ושלושת אלפים פרים, מממון המלך. ח שריו נתנו נדבה לעם, לכהנים וללוים. חלקיה וזכריה ויחיאל, שרי בית האלהים, נתנו לכהנים לפסח, אלפים ושש מאות בהמות, ושלוש מאות בקר. ט וגם כנניהו ושמעיה ונתנאל אחיו וחשביה וייעיל ויוזבד ראשי הלוים נתנו ללוים לפסח חמשת אלפים בהמות וחמש מאות בקר. י וַיַּעֲשׂוּ הַמִּשְׁפָּטָה וַיַּעֲמְדוּ הַכֹּהֵן בָּמָּקָם וְהַלֵּוִים לְמִתְפַּלְגּוֹתָם כְּמוֹת הַמֶּלֶךְ. יא וַיַּשְׁחַטוּ אֶת הַפְּסַח וַיִּזְרוּ הַכֹּהֵן מִמָּדָם וַיַּעֲשֶׂה הַלֵּוִים. יב וַיַּסְרוּ אֶת הַעֲלוֹת לְמַתִּינוֹת כְּמַחְתָּב בְּסֵפֶר מֹשֶׁה׃ יג וצללו את הפסח באש כחוק, ואת הקודשים בשלו בסירים, בסירים ובמחבתות, ויביאו אותם במהירות לכל בני העם. יד ואחר כך הכינו לעצמם ולכהנים, כי הכהנים בני אהרן היו עסוקים בהקרבת העלות והחלבים עד הלילה; וכי הכינו הלוים לעצמם ולכהנים בני אהרן. טו המשררים בני אסף היו במקומם, כמצוות דוד ואסף והמן וידונת חוזה המלך; והשוערים היו בכל שער; לא היו צריכים לסור מעבודתם; כי אחיהם הלוים הכינו להם. טז וַיַּעֲשׂוּ כָּל-עֲבָדַת יְהוָה בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא לַעֲשׂוֹת אֶת-הַפְּסַח וְלַעֲלֹת עַל-מִזְבַּח יְהוָה כְּמִצְוַת הַמֶּלֶךְ יֹאשִׁיהוּ. יְז וַיַּעֲשׂוּ בְנֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל הַנָּמִים אֶת-הַפְּסַח בָּעֵת הַהוּא וְאֶת-חַג הַמַּצָּה שִׁבְעַת יָמִים. יְחַל לֹא-הָיָה פְּסַח כְּמָהּ שֶׁנַּעֲשׂוּ בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל מֵימֵי שְׁמוּאֵל הַנָּבִיא וְכָל-מַלְכֵי יְשָׂרָאֵל לֹא-עֲשׂוּ אֶת-הַפְּסַח הַזֶּה. 20 אחרי כל זאת, כאשר הכין יאשיהו את המקדש, עלה נכו מלך מצרים להילחם בכרקמיש על פני הפרת, ויצא יאשיהו לקראתו. 21 וישלח אליו שליחים לאמר, מה לי ולך מלך יהודה? לא עליך היום, כי בבית אשר לי מלחמה, ואלוהים צוה עלי למהר. מנע ממך להתערב באלוהים אשר עמי, ולא ישחידך. 22 ולא רצה יאשיהו להסיט פניו ממנו, ויחפש את עצמו להילחם עמו, ולא שמע אל דברי נכו מפי אלוהים, ויבוא להילחם בעמק מגידו. 23 והקשתים ירו במלך יאשיהו, ויאמר המלך לעבדיו, הוציאו אותי, כי פצוע קשה. 24 וַיַּרְדוּ אֹתוֹ עַבְדָיו מֵן הַמֶּגֶלֶת וַיַּשְׂאוּ אֹתוֹ בַּמֶּגֶל הַשֵּׁנִית אֲשֶׁר לוֹ וַיָּבִיאוּ אֹתוֹ יְרוּשָׁלַיִם וַיָּמָת וַיְקָבֵר בְּקִבְרֵי אֲבֹתָיו וַיַּתְבַּלוּ כָּל יְהוּדָה וְיָרוּשָׁלַיִם עַל יֹאשִׁיהוּ וַיַּדְבְּרוּ 26 ויתר דברי יאשיהו ומעשיו הטובים ככתוב בתורת ה'. 27 ודבריו הראשונים והאחרונים הנה הם כתובים בספר מלכי ישראל ויהודה.
36:1 ויקח עם הארץ את יהוה בן יאשיהו וימליכו אותו תחת אביו בירושלים. 2 בן עשרים ושלוש שנה היה יואחז במלכו ושלושה חדשים מלך בירושלים. 3 וידיחו מלך מצרים בירושלים ויקע את הארץ מאה כּכר כסף וככר זהב. 4 וימליך מלך מצרים את אליקים אחיו על יהודה וירושלים וישנה את שמו ליהויקים. וניקח נכו את יואחז אחיו ויביא אותו מצרים. ה בן עשרים וחמש שנה היה יהויקים במלכו, ואחת עשרה שנים מלך בירושלים, ויעשה את הרע בעיני ה' אלהיו. ו ועלה עליו נבוכדנצר מלך בבל, ואסרהו באזיקים, לשאתו בבל. ז וגם נבוכדנצר נשא מכלי בית ה' בבל, וישם אותם בהיכלו בבבל. ח ויתר דברי יהויקים, ותועבותיו אשר עשה, ואשר נמצא בו, הנה הם כתובים בספר מלכי ישראל ויהודה, וימלך יהויקים בנו תחתיו. ט בן שמונה שנים היה יהויקים במלכו, ושלושה חדשים ועשרה ימים מלך בירושלים, ויעשה את הרע בעיני ה'. 10 ויהי בתשובת השנה וישלח המלך נבוכדנצר ויביאהו בבל עם כלי בית ה' הטובים וימלך את צדקיהו אחיו על יהודה ועל ירושלים.
11 צדקיהו בן עשרים ואחת שנה במלכו ואחת עשרה שנה מלך בירושלים. 12 ויעשה את הרע בעיני ה' אלהיו לא נכנע לפני ירמיהו הנביא מפי ה'. 13 וגם במלך נבוכדנצר אשר השביעו באלהים ויחזק עורפו ויקשה את לבו משום פניה אל ה' אלהי ישראל. 14 וכל ראשי הכהנים והעם מעלו מעלים מאוד מאוד בכל תועבות הגויים. ויטמאו את בית ה' אשר קדיש בירושלים. טו וישלח ה' אלוהי אבותם אליהם ביד מלאכיו השכם ושלח כי רחם על עמו ועל משכנו. טז וילעגו מלאכי ה' ובוזו דבריו וילעזו על נביאיו עד אשר קם אף ה' בעמו עד שאין מרפא. יז ויביא עליהם את מלך הכשים ויהרגו את נעריהם בחרב בבית מקדשם ולא רחם על בחור ובתולה זקן ואפור את כולם נתן בידו. יח את כל כלי בית ה' הגדולים והקטנים ואת אוצרות בית ה' ואת אוצרות המלך ושרידו את כל אלה הביא בבל. יט וַיַּרְצוּ אֶת־בֵּית־הָאֱלֹהִים וַיַּרְצוּ אֶת־חוֹמַת־יְרוּשָׁלַיִם וַיַּרְצוּ אֶת־כָּל־הַכְּלֵיהֶם בָּאֵשׁ וַיַּרְצוּ אֶת־כְּלֵיהֶם חַרֶב וַיֵּלֶה אֶת־בָּנָיו וַיְהִי עֲבָדִים וּלְבָנָיו עַד־ממלכת פָּרָס׃ 21 לַקְיֵם אֶת־דַּבְרַת־יְהוָה בְּפִי־יְרַמְיָהוּ עַד־תַּשְׂכָּבָה הָאָרֶץ שַׁבָּתָּהּ כִּי־יָמִים שָׁמְרָה שָׁבָה לַמִּלָּאָה שִׁבְעִים שָׁנָה׃ 22 ובשנת־אֶחָד לְכֹרֶשׁ מֶלֶךְ פִּי־יְרַמְיָהוּ הַעִיר יְהוָה אֶת־רוּחַ כֹּה־כֹל־מַמְכָּתוֹ וַיַּקְרָא בְּכָל־מַמְכְלָתוֹ וְגַם־בְּכַתָּב לֵאמֹר׃ 23 כה־אָמַר כֹרֶשׁ מֶלֶךְ פָּרָס אֶת־כָּל־מַמְכֻלְּכוֹת הָאָרֶץ נָתַן־לי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי־הַשָּׁמָיִם׃ וְצָוָה עָלָי לִבְנַת לוֹ בַּיִת בִּירוּשָׁלַיִם אֲשֶׁר בִּיהוּדָה כָּל־יָּהוּ מִכֶּם מִכָּל־עַמּוֹ יְהוָה אֱלֹהָיו עִמּוֹ וְעָלָה׃כָּל הַשְּׁרָרִים וְהַשְׁרָרִים דִּבְרוּ אֶת יֹאשִׁיהוּ בְּקִנָּהָן עַד הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה וַיַּשְׁמוּ אֹתָם לְחָקָה בִּיִשְׂרָאֵל וְהִנֵּה כְּכָתוּב׃
הברית החדשה: קורינתים א' 1:1-17
1:1 שאול, הנקרא להיות שליח של ישוע המשיח ברצון אלוהים, ואחינו סוסטנס,
2 אל קהלת אלוהים אשר בקורינתוס, המקודשים במשיח ישוע, הקרואים להיות קדושים, עם כל הקוראים בשם אדוננו ישוע המשיח בכל מקום, שלהם ושלנו:
3 חסד לכם ושלום מאת אלוהים אבינו ומהאדון ישוע המשיח.
4 אני תמיד מודה לאלהי עליכם, על חסד אלוהים אשר ניתן לכם במשיח ישוע;
5 כי בכל דבר התעשרתם בו, בכל דיבור ובכל דעת;
6 כשם שעדות המשיח אושרה בכם:
7 כך שאתם לא מפגרים בשום מתנה, מחכים להתגלות אדוננו ישוע המשיח; 8 אשר גם יחזק אתכם עד הסוף, ללא דופי ביום אדוננו ישוע המשיח.
9 אלוהים נאמן, אשר דרכו נקראתם לחברת בנו, ישוע המשיח, אדוננו.
10 אני מתחנן מכם, אחים, בשם אדוננו ישוע המשיח, שתדברו כולכם דבר אחד ושלא יהיו ביניכם מחלוקות, אלא שתהיו מושלמים יחד באותה מחשבה ובאותה דעה.
11 כי שמעתי לי עליכם, אחי, מבית כלואה, שיש מחלוקות ביניכם.
12 אני מתכוון לכך, שכל אחד מכם אומר: "אני הולך אחרי שאול", "אני הולך אחרי אפולוס", "אני הולך אחרי כיפא", ו"אני הולך אחרי המשיח".
13 האם המשיח נחלק? האם שאול נצלב בעדכם? או האם נטבלתם בשם שאול?
14 אני מודה לאלהים שלא טבלתי אף אחד מכם, מלבד קריספוס וגיוס,
15 כדי שאיש לא יאמר שטבלתי אתכם בשמי.
16 (גם את בני ביתו של סטפנס טבלתי; איני יודע אם טבלתי אחרים מלבדם.)
17 כי לא שלח אותי המשיח לטבול, אלא לבשר את הבשורה - לא בחוכמת מילים, כדי שלא יתבטל צלב המשיח.
John 3:16-21 16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, F that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.
