PSALMS: 11
1 In the LORD do I take refuge.
How can you say to my soul,
"Flee as a bird to your mountain!"
2 For, behold, the wicked bend their bows.
They set their arrows on the strings,
That they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.
3 If the foundations are destroyed,
What can the righteous do?
4 The LORD is in his holy temple.
The LORD is on his throne in heaven.
His eyes observe.
His eyes examine the children of men.
5 The LORD examines the righteous,
But the wicked and him who loves violence his soul hates.
6 On the wicked he will rain blazing coals;
Fire, sulfur, and scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.
7 For the LORD is righteous.
He loves righteousness.
The upright shall see his face.
PSALMS: 41
1 Blessed is he who considers the poor:
The LORD will deliver him in the day of evil.
2 The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive,
He shall be blessed on the eretz,
And he will not surrender him to the will of his enemies.
3 The LORD will sustain him on his sickbed,
And restore him from his bed of illness.
4 I said, "LORD, have mercy on me.
Heal me, for I have sinned against you."
5 My enemies speak evil against me:
"When will he die, and his name perish?"
6 If he come to see me, he speaks falsehood.
His heart gathers iniquity to itself.
When he goes abroad, he tells it.
7 All who hate me whisper together against me.
They imagine the worst for me.
8 "An evil disease," they say, "has afflicted him.
Now that he lies he shall rise up no more."
9 Yes, my own familiar friend, in whom I trusted,
Who ate bread with me,
Has lifted up his heel against me.
10 But you, LORD, have mercy on me, and raise me up,
That I may repay them.
11 By this I know that you delight in me,
Because my enemy doesn't triumph over me.
12 As for me, you uphold me in my integrity,
And set me in your presence forever.
13 Blessed be the LORD, the God of Yisra'el,
From everlasting and to everlasting! Amein and amein.
PSALMS: 71
1 In you, LORD, I take refuge.
Never let me be put to shame.
2 Deliver me in your righteousness, and rescue me.
Turn your ear to me, and save me.
3 Be to me a rock of refuge to which I may always go.
Give the command to save me,
For you are my rock and my fortress.
4 Rescue me, my God, from the hand of the wicked,
From the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
5 For you are my hope, Lord GOD;
My confidence from my youth.
6 I have relied on you from the womb.
You are he who took me out of my mother's womb.
I will always praise you.
7 I am a marvel to many,
But you are my strong refuge.
8 My mouth shall be filled with your praise,
With your honor all the day.
9 Don't reject me in my old age.
Don't forsake me when my strength fails.
10 For my enemies talk about me.
Those who watch for my soul conspire together,
11 Saying, "God has forsaken him.
Pursue and take him, for no one will rescue him."
12 God, don't be far from me.
My God, hurry to help me.
13 Let my accusers be put to shame and consumed.
Let them be covered with disgrace and scorn who want to harm me.
14 But I will always hope,
And will add to all of your praise.
15 My mouth will tell about your righteousness,
And of your salvation all day,
Though I don't know its full measure.
16 I will come with the mighty acts of the Lord GOD.
I will make mention of your righteousness, even of yours alone.
17 God, you have taught me from my youth.
Until now, I have declared your wondrous works.
18 Yes, even when I am old and gray-headed,
God, don't forsake me,
Until I have declared your strength to the next generation,
Your might to everyone who is to come.
19 Your righteousness also, God, reaches to the heavens;
You who have done great things.
God, who is like you?
20 You, who have shown us many and bitter troubles,
You will let me live.
You will bring us up again from the depths of the eretz.
21 Increase my honor, And comfort me again.
22 I will also praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, my God.
I sing praises to you with the lyre,
Holy One of Yisra'el.
23 My lips shall shout for joy!
My soul, which you have redeemed, sings praises to you!
24 My tongue will also talk about your righteousness all day long,
For they are put to shame, and they are confounded,
who want to harm me.
PSALMS: 101
1 I will sing of loving kindness and justice.
To you, LORD, I will sing praises.
2 I will be careful to live a blameless life.
When will you come to me?
I will walk within my house with a blameless heart.
3 I will set no vile thing before my eyes.
I hate the deeds of faithless men.
They will not cling to me.
4 A perverse heart will be far from me.
I will have nothing to do with evil.
5 I will silence whoever secretly slanders his neighbor.
I won't tolerate one who is haughty and conceited.
6 My eyes will be on the faithful of the land,
That they may dwell with me.
He who walks in a perfect way, He will serve me.
7 He who practices deceit won't dwell within my house.
He who speaks falsehood won't be established before my eyes.
8 Morning by morning, I will destroy all the wicked of the land;
To cut off all the workers of iniquity from the LORD's city.
PSALMS: 131
1 LORD, my heart isn't haughty, nor my eyes lofty;
Neither do I concern myself with great matters,
Or things too wonderful for me.
2 Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul,
Like a weaned child with his mother,
Like a weaned child is my soul within me.
3 Yisra'el, hope in the LORD,
From this time forth and forevermore.
PROVERBS: 11
1 A false balance is an abomination to the LORD,
But accurate weights are his delight.
2 When pride comes, then comes shame,
But with humility comes wisdom.
3 The integrity of the upright shall guide them,
But the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them.
4 Riches don't profit in the day of wrath,
But righteousness delivers from death.
5 The righteousness of the blameless will direct his way,
But the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.
6 The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them,
But the unfaithful will be trapped by evil desires.
7 When a wicked man dies, hope perishes,
And expectation of power comes to nothing.
8 The righteous is delivered out of trouble,
And the wicked takes his place.
9 With his mouth the godless man destroys his neighbor,
But the righteous will be delivered through knowledge.
10 When it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices.
When the wicked perish, there is shouting.
11 By the blessing of the upright, the city is exalted,
But it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.
12 One who despises his neighbor is void of wisdom,
But a man of understanding holds his shalom.
13 One who brings gossip betrays a confidence,
But one who is of a trustworthy spirit is one who keeps a secret.
14 Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls,
But in the multitude of counselors there is victory.
15 He who is collateral for a stranger will suffer for it,
But he who refuses pledges of collateral is secure.
16 A gracious woman obtains honor,
But violent men obtain riches.
17 The merciful man does good to his own soul,
But he who is cruel troubles his own flesh.
18 The wicked earns deceitful wages,
But he who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward.
19 He who is truly righteous gets life.
He who pursues evil gets death.
20 Those who are perverse in heart are an abomination to the LORD,
But those whose ways are blameless are his delight.
21 Most assuredly, the evil man will not be unpunished,
But the seed of the righteous will be delivered.
22 Like a gold ring in a pig's snout,
Is a beautiful woman who lacks discretion.
23 The desire of the righteous is only good.
The expectation of the wicked is wrath.
24 There is one who scatters, and increases yet more.
There is one who withholds more than is appropriate, but gains poverty.
25 The liberal soul shall be made fat.
He who waters shall be watered also himself.
26 He who withholds grain, the people will curse him,
But blessing will be on the head of him who sells it.
27 He who diligently seeks good seeks favor,
But he who searches after evil, it shall come to him.
28 He who trusts in his riches will fall,
But the righteous shall flourish as the green leaf.
29 He who troubles his own house shall inherit the wind.
The foolish shall be servant to the wise of heart.
30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life.
He who is wise wins souls.
31 Behold, the righteous shall be repaid in the eretz;
How much more the wicked and the sinner!
OLD TESTAMENT: 2 CHRONICLES 29:1 - 36
29:1 Hizkiyahu began to reign when he was twenty-five years old; and he reigned twenty-nine years in Yerushalayim: and his mother's name was Aviyah, the daughter of Zekharyah.
2 He did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, according to all that David his father had done.
3 He in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the doors of the house of the LORD, and repaired them.
4 He brought in the Kohanim and the Levites, and gathered them together into the broad place on the east,
5 and said to them, Hear me, you Levites; now sanctify yourselves, and sanctify the house of the LORD, the God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy place.
6 For our fathers have trespassed, and done that which was evil in the sight of the LORD our God, and have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of the LORD, and turned their backs.
7 Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place to the God of Yisra'el.
8 Therefore the wrath of the LORD was on Yehudah and Yerushalayim, and he has delivered them to be tossed back and forth, to be an astonishment, and a hissing, as you see with your eyes.
9 For, behold, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.
10 Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, that his fierce anger may turn away from us.
11 My sons, don't be negligent now; for the LORD has chosen you to stand before him, to minister to him, and that you should be his ministers, and burn incense.
12 Then the Levites arose, Machat, the son of `Amasai, and Yo'el the son of `Azaryah, of the sons of the Kehati; and of the sons of Merari, Kish the son of `Avdi, and `Azaryah the son of Yehallel'el; and of the Gershoni, Yo'ach the son of Zimmah, and `Eden the son of Yo'ach;
13 and of the sons of Elitzafan, Shimri and Ye`u'el; and of the sons of Asaf, Zekharyah and Mattanyah;
14 and of the sons of Heman, Yechi'el and Shim`i; and of the sons of Yedutun, Shemayah and `Uzzi'el.
15 They gathered their brothers, and sanctified themselves, and went in, according to the mitzvah of the king by the words of the LORD, to cleanse the house of the LORD.
16 The Kohanim went in to the inner part of the house of the LORD, to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the temple of the LORD into the court of the house of the LORD. The Levites took it, to carry it out abroad to the brook Kidron.
17 Now they began on the first [day] of the first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month came they to the porch of the LORD; and they sanctified the house of the LORD in eight days: and on the sixteenth day of the first month they made an end.
18 Then they went in to Hizkiyahu the king within [the palace], and said, We have cleansed all the house of the LORD, and the altar of burnt offering, with all the vessels of it, and the table of show bread, with all the vessels of it.
19 Moreover all the vessels, which king Achaz in his reign did cast away when he trespassed, have we prepared and sanctified; and, behold, they are before the altar of the LORD.
20 Then Hizkiyahu the king arose early, and gathered the princes of the city, and went up to the house of the LORD.
21 They brought seven bulls, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven male goats, for a sin-offering for the kingdom and for the sanctuary and for Yehudah. He commanded the Kohanim the sons of Aharon to offer them on the altar of the LORD.
22 So they killed the bulls, and the Kohanim received the blood, and sprinkled it on the altar: and they killed the rams, and sprinkled the blood on the altar: they killed also the lambs, and sprinkled the blood on the altar.
23 They brought near the male goats for the sin-offering before the king and the assembly; and they laid their hands on them:
24 and the Kohanim killed them, and they made a sin-offering with their blood on the altar, to make atonement for all Yisra'el; for the king commanded [that] the burnt offering and the sin-offering [should be made] for all Yisra'el.
25 He set the Levites in the house of the LORD with cymbals, with psalteries, and with harps, according to the mitzvah of David, and of Gad the king's seer, and Natan the prophet; for the mitzvah was of the LORD by his prophets.
26 The Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the Kohanim with the trumpets.
27 Hizkiyahu commanded to offer the burnt offering on the altar. When the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD began also, and the trumpets, together with the instruments of David king of Yisra'el.
28 All the assembly worshiped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded; all this [continued] until the burnt offering was finished.
29 When they had made an end of offering, the king and all who were present with him bowed themselves and worshiped.
30Moreover Hizkiyahu the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praises to the LORD with the words of David, and of Asaf the seer. They sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshiped.
31 Then Hizkiyahu answered, Now you have consecrated yourselves to the LORD; come near and bring sacrifices and thank-offerings into the house of the LORD. The assembly brought in sacrifices and thank-offerings; and as many as were of a willing heart [brought] burnt offerings.
32 The number of the burnt offerings which the assembly brought was seventy bulls, one hundred rams, and two hundred lambs: all these were for a burnt offering to the LORD.
33 The consecrated things were six hundred oxen and three thousand sheep.
34 But the Kohanim were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: therefore their brothers the Levites helped them, until the work was ended, and until the Kohanim had sanctified themselves; for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the Kohanim.
35 Also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace-offerings, and with the drink-offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of the house of the LORD was set in order.
36 Hizkiyahu rejoiced, and all the people, because of that which God had prepared for the people: for the thing was done suddenly.
NEW TESTAMENT: ROMANS 14:1 - 23
1 But receive him who is weak in faith, not for judging thoughts.
2 One man has faith to eat all things, but he who is weak eats herbs.
3 Don't let him who eats despise him who doesn't eat. Don't let him who doesn't eat judge him who eats, for God has received him.
4 Who are you who judge another's servant? To his own lord he stands or falls. Yes, he will be made to stand, for God has power to make him stand.
5 One man esteems one day above another. Another esteems every day alike. Let each man be fully assured in his own mind.
6 He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks. He who doesn't eat, to the Lord he doesn't eat, and gives God thanks.
7 For none of us lives to himself, and none dies to himself.
8 For if we live, we live to the Lord. Or if we die, we die to the Lord. If therefore we live or die, we are the Lord's.
9 For to this end Messiah died, rose, and lived again, that he might be Lord of both the dead and the living.
10 But you, why do you judge your brother? Or you again, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of Messiah.
11 For it is written, "'As I live,' says the Lord, 'to me every knee will bow. Every tongue will confess to God.'"
12 So then each one of us will give account of himself to God.
13 Therefore Let's not judge one another any more, but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block in his brother's way, or an occasion of falling.
14 I know, and am persuaded in the Lord Yeshua, that nothing is unclean of itself; except that to him who considers anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
15 Yet if because of food your brother is grieved, you walk no longer in love. Don't destroy with your food him for whom Messiah died.
16 Then don't let your good be slandered,
17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, shalom, and joy in the Ruach HaKodesh.
18 For he who serves Messiah in these things is acceptable to God and approved by men.
19 So then, let us follow after things which make for shalom, and things whereby we may build one another up.
20 Don't overthrow God's work for food's sake. All things indeed are clean, however it is evil for that man who creates a stumbling block by eating.
21 It is good not to eat meat, drink wine nor do anything by which your brother stumbles, is offended, or is made weak.
22 Do you have faith? Have it to yourself before God. Happy is he who doesn't judge himself in that which he approves.
23 But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because it isn't of faith; and whatever is not of faith is sin.

מה יעשו צדיקים?
4 ה' בהיכל קדשו. ה' על כסאו בשמים. עיניו משגיחות. עיניו בוחנות בני אדם.
ה' בוחן צדיקים,
וְרָשָׁע וְאָהֵב חָמָס שְׁנָאֵה נַפְשׁוֹ.
6 על רשעים יְמָטִיר גחלים לוהטות;

שומרי נפשי קשרו יחד,
11 לומר: "עזבנו אלהים.
רדפו ותפסו אותו, כי אין מצילנו."

אלוהיי, מהר לעזרני.
13 יבושימו ויכלו מתוכחיי.
יבזו וחרפה יכסו את רוצי רעעני.
14 אך אני תמיד אקוות,
ואוסיף על כל תהלתך.
15 פי יספר צדקתך,
וישועתך כל היום,
ולא ידעתי את מידתה.
16 אבוא בגבורות אדוני יהוה.
אזכיר צדקתך, רק שלך.
17 אלוהים, לימדתני מנעורי.
עד עכשיו הגידתי נפלאותיך.
18 גם כי זקנתי ואאפירה,
אל תעזבני אלוהים,
עד אשר אגדיר כוחך לדור הבא,
גבורתך לכל הבא.
19 צדקתך, אלוהים, מגיעה עד השמים;
אתה אשר עשית גדלות.
אלוהים, מי כמוך?
20 אתה אשר הראת לנו צרות רבות ומרות,
תחייני.
ממעמקים ארץ תעלינו. 21 הרבתי כבודי, ונחמני שוב.

23 שפתיי ירננו! נפשי אשר גאלת, תשיר לך!
24 וגם לשוני תדבר צדקתך כל היום,
כי בושה ונכלמו,
הרוצים רעע לי.

1 אשיר חסד ומשפט. לך ה' אזמר.
2 אשמור לחיות חיים תמימים. מתי תבוא אלי? אלך בביתי בלב תמים.
3 לא אשים דבר נבלה לנגד עיני. אני שונא מעשי כופרים. לא ידבקו בי.
4 לב מעוות ירחק ממני. לא יהיה לי קשר לרע.
5 אשתיק את כל אשר יגבה רעהו בסתר. לא אסבול יהיר ויהיר.
6 עיני יהיו על נאמני הארץ,
למען ישכנו עמי. ההולך בדרך תמימה, הוא יעבודני. 7 לא ישב מרמה בביתי. דובר שקר לא יקום לעיני.
8 בוקר בבוקר אשמיד את כל רשעי הארץ;
לכרות את כל פועלי עוולות מעיר ה'.
תהילים: קל"א
1 ה', לא גבה לבי, ולא גאות עיניי;
ולא אכפה דברים גדולים,
ופלאים ממני.
2 אם כן השקיטתי והשקטתי את נפשי,
כגמול עם אמו,
כגמול נפשי בקרבי.
3 ישראל, קוה אל ה',
מעתה ועד עולם.

1 משקל שקר תועבה לה',
ומשקלים מדויקים חפצו.
2 כי בא גאווה, אז באה בושה,
ועם ענווה תבוא חכמה.
3 יושרת ישרים תנחה אותם,
והעוולה של בוגדים תשמידם.
4 לא יועיל עושר ביום זעם,
וצדקה תציל ממוות.
5 צדקת התמים תכוון את דרכו,
והרשע ייפול ברשעתו.
6 צדקת ישרים תציל אותם,
והבוגדים ילכדו בתאוות רעות.
7 במות רשע, אבדה תקווה,
והתקוות לכוח תיפגע.
8 צדיק ניצל מצרה,
ורשע תופס את מקומו.
9 בפיו יפגע רשע בחברו,
והצדיק ינצל באמצעות דעת.
10 בטוב לצדיקים, תשמח העיר.
באבדי רשעים, תרועה.
11 בברכת ישרים תרומם עיר,
ובפי רשעים תיפגע.
12 בוז לרעך חסר חוכמה,
ואיש בינה ישמור שלום.
13 רכיל יבגוד סוד,
ואיש רוח נאמן שומר סוד.
14 באין הדרכה חכמה נופלת אומה,
וברב יועצים ישועה.
15 ערבון לזר יסבול,
ומסרב ערבונות בטוח.
16 אישה חננה תזכה לכבוד,
ואנשי אלים יקבלו עושר.
17 איש רחום יעשה טוב לנפשו,
ואכזר ירעיל בשרו.
18 רשע ירוויח שכר מרמה,
והזורע צדק קוצר שכר בטוח.
19 צדיק באמת יחיה. רודף רע מות.
20 עוקצי לב תועבת ה',
ואלו שתמים דרכיו חפצו.
21 אכן, איש רע לא יינקה,
וזרע צדיקים ינצל.
22 כטבעת זהב בחוטם חזיר,
אשה יפה חסרת שכל.
23 תשוקת צדיק היא רק טובה.
ציפיית רשעים היא זעם.
24 יש מי שמפזר, ועוד מרבה.
יש מי שעוצר יותר מהראוי, ורוצה.
25 נפש נדיבה תשמין.
מי שמשקה ישקה גם הוא.
26 מי שעוצר תבואה, העם יקלל אותו,
וברכה תהיה על ראש מוכרה.
27 מבקש טוב יבקש חן,
ומחפש רע יבוא לו.
28 בוטח בעושרו ייפול,
והצדיק כעלה ירוק יפרח.
29 הרע ביתו יירש רוח.
כסיל יהיה עבד לחכמי לב.
30 פרי צדיק עץ חיים.
החכם יזכה נפשות.
31 הנה צדיק יגמול בארץ;
מה עוד לרשע ולחוטא!

כט:1 חזקיהו מלך בבן עשרים וחמש שנה וימלך עשרים ותשע שנה בירושלים ושם אמו אביה בת זכריה.
2 הוא עשה את הישר בעיני ה' ככל אשר עשה דוד אביו.
3 הוא בשנה הראשונה למלכותו בחודש הראשון פתח את דלתות בית ה' ויתקן אותם.
4 הוא הביא את הכהנים ואת הלוים ויאסף אותם אל הרחבה ממזרח.
5 ויאמר אלהם שמעו נא הלוים ועתה קדשו את עצמכם וקדשו את בית ה' אלוהי אבותיכם והוציאו את הטמא מן הקודש.
ו כי מעלו אבותינו ועשו את הרע בעיני יהוה אלהינו, ועזבו אותו, והסבו פניהם ממעון יהוה, והסבו עורף.
ז וגם את דלתות האולם סגרו, וכיבו את הנרות, ולא הקטירו קטרת ולא הקריבו עלות בקודש לאלהי ישראל.
ח לכן היה אף יהוה על יהודה ועל ירושלים, ויתנם להמה ולשרקה, כאשר אתם רואים בעיניכם.
ט כי הנה אבותינו נפלו בחרב, ובנינו ובנותינו ונשותינו בגלות על כך.
עתה בלבי לכרות ברית עם יהוה אלהי ישראל, למען ישוב מעלינו חרון אפו. יא בני, אל תרשלו עתה, כי בחר ה' בכם לעמוד לפניו לשרתו, ולהיות לו למשרתים ולהקטיר קטורת.
יב ויקומו הלוים, מחת בן עמשי ויואל בן עזריה מבני הקהתי; ומבני מררי, קיש בן עבדי ועזריה בן יהללאל; ומבני גרשוני, יואך בן זמה ועדן בן יואך;
יג ומבני אליצפן, שמרי ויואל; ומבני אסף, זכריה ומתניה;
יד ומבני הימן, יחיאל ושמעי; ומבני ידעטון, שמעיה ועוזיאל. 15 וַיְקַבְּצוּ אֶת-אֶחָם וַיָּבֹאוּ כְּמוֹת הַמֶּלֶךְ בְּדִבְרֵי יְהוָה לְטַהֵר אֶת-בֵּית יְהוָה.
16 וַיָּבֹאוּ הַכֹּהֲנִים אֶל-פְּנִימָה בֵּית יְהוָה לְטַהֵר אֶת-כָּל-טְמַאָה אֲשֶׁר מָצָאוּ בְּהֵיכָל יְהוָה אֶל-חָצֵר בֵּית יְהוָה. וַיַּקְחוּ הַלְּוִיִים לְהוֹצִיא אֶל-נַחַל קִדְרוֹן.
17 וַיַּחֲלוּ בְּאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשׁוֹן לְקַדֵּשׁ, וּבְשְׁמִינִי לַחֹדֶשׁ בָּאוּ אֶל-אֲרָכָה יְהוָה, וַיַּקְדְּשוּ אֶת-בֵּית יְהוָה בְּשְׁמוֹנָה יָמִים, וּבְשֶׁה עֶשְׂרָה יוֹם לַחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשׁוֹן לְכֹל׃ יח ויבואו אל חזקיהו המלך פנימה ויאמרו טהרנו את כל בית ה' ואת מזבח העולה ואת כל כליו ואת שולחן לחם הפנים ואת כל כליו.
יט ואת כל הכלים אשר השליך המלך אחז במלכותו במעשו הכנו וקדשנו והנה הם לפני מזבח ה'.
כיש ויקם המלך חזקיהו השכם ויאסף את שרי העיר ויעלה בית ה'.
כא ויביאו שבעה פרים ושבעה אילים ושבעה כבשים ושבעה שעירים לחטאת לממלכה ולמקדש וליהודה. ויצוה את הכהנים בני אהרן להקריבם על מזבח ה'.
22 וישחטו את הפרים, והכהנים קיבלו את הדם ויזרו אותו על המזבח, וישחטו את האילים ויזרו את הדם על המזבח, וישחטו גם את הכבשים ויזרו את הדם על המזבח.
23 ויקראו את שעירי החטאת לפני המלך והקהל, וישימו את ידיהם עליהם.
24 ויזחטו אותם הכהנים, ויעשו חטאת בדמם על המזבח, לכפר על כל ישראל, כי המלך ציווה את העלה ואת החטאת על כל ישראל.
25 ויעמיד את הלוים בבית ה' במצלתיים, בנבלים ובכינורות, כמצוות דוד וגד חוזה המלך ונתן הנביא, כי מאת ה' הייתה המצווה על ידי נביאיו. 26 הלוים עמדו עם כלי דוד, והכהנים עם החצוצרות.
27 ציווה חזקיהו להקריב את העולה על המזבח. וכאשר החלה העולה, החלה גם שירת ה' והחצוצרות עם כלי דוד מלך ישראל.
28 והשתחו כל הקהל, והשררים שרו והחצוצרים תקעו; כל זאת עד שתסתיים העולה.
29 וכאשר כלו את הקרבת הקרבה, השתחוו המלך וכל הנוכחים עמו וישתחוו.
30ו ויצו חזקיהו המלך והשרים את הלוים להלל את ה' בדברי דוד ואסף הרואה. וישירו הלל בשמחה, וישתחוו ראשם וישתחוו.
31 ויאמר חזקיהו, עתה הקדשתם לה'; קרבו והביאו זבחים ותודות אל בית ה'. הקהל הביאו זבחים ותודות; וכל אשר היה להם לב רצון [הביאו] עולות.
32 מספר העולות אשר הביאו הקהל היה שבעים פרים, מאה אילים ומאתים כבשים; כל אלה לעולה לה'.
33 הקדשים היו שש מאות בקר ושלושת אלפים צאן.
34 והכהנים היו מעטים מדי, ולא יכלו להפשיט את כל העלות; ועזרו להם אחיהם הלוים, עד שתסתיים המלאכה, ועד שיתקדשו הכוהנים; כי הלוים היו ישרי לבב להתקדש מן הכוהנים.
35 וגם העלות היו בשפע, עם חלב השלמים, עם הנסכים לכל העלה. כך נערך עבודת בית ה'.
36 שמח חזקיהו וכל העם, על מה שהכין אלוהים לעם, כי הדבר נעשה פתאום.
ברית חדשה: רומים י"ד, 1-23
1 אבל את החלש באמונה קבלו, אל תשפוט מחשבות.
2 לאחד יש אמונה לאכול את הכל, והחלש אוכל עשבים.
3 אל יבוז האוכל את זה שאינו אוכל. אל תתנו למי שאינו אוכל לשפוט את מי שאוכל, כי אלוהים קיבל אותו.
4 מי אתם ששופטים את עבדו של אחר? לאדונו הוא עומד או נופל. כן, הוא יעמוד, כי לאלוהים יש סמכות להעמיד אותו.
5 איש מעריך יום אחד מעל אחר, אחר מעריך כל יום כאחד. שיהיה כל אדם בטוח לחלוטין בדעתו.
6 מי ששומר את היום, שומר אותו לה'; ומי שאינו שומר את היום, לה' אינו שומר אותו. מי שאוכל, אוכל לה', כי הוא מודה לאלוהים. מי שאינו אוכל, לה' אינו אוכל, ומודה לאלוהים.
7 כי איש מאיתנו אינו חי לעצמו, ואיש אינו מת לעצמו.
8 כי אם אנו חיים, אנו חיים לה'. ואם אנו מתים, אנו מתים לה'. לכן, אם אנו חיים או מתים, אנו של האדון.
9 כי לשם כך מת המשיח, קם לתחייה וחי, כדי שיהיה אדון גם למתים וגם לחיים.

11 כי כתוב: "חי אני, אמר ה', לי תכרע כל ברך וכל לשון תודה לאלוהים."
12 לכן כל אחד מאיתנו ייתן דין וחשבון על עצמו לאלוהים.
13 לכן אל נשפוט עוד איש את רעהו, אלא שפטו זאת, שלא ישים איש מכשול בדרכו של אחיו, או סיבה למפלה.
14 אני יודע, ואני משוכנע באדון ישוע, ששום דבר אינו טמא כשלעצמו; אלא שלמי שמחשיב דבר לטמא, הוא טמא לו.
15 אך אם בגלל האוכל אחיך עצוב, אינכם הולכים עוד באהבה. אל תהרסו במאכלכם את מי שבמענו מת המשיח.
16 אם כן אל תתנו לטובתכם להידבר,
17 כי מלכות האלוהים אינה אכילה ושתייה, אלא צדקה, שלום ושמחה ברוח הקודש.
18 כי מי שמשרת את המשיח בדברים אלה רצוי לפני אלוהים ונחשב לאנשים.
19 לכן הבה נרדוף אחר דברים המסייעים לשלום, ודברים שבאמצעותם נוכל לבנות זה את זה.
20 אל תהרסו את עבודת האלוהים למען אוכל. הכל אכן טהור, אך רע הוא לאדם שמכשיל באכילה.
21 טוב לא לאכול בשר, לא לשתות יין ולא לעשות דבר שממנו מועד אחיך, נעלב או נחלש.
22 האם יש לך אמונה? שמור אותה לעצמך לפני אלוהים. אשרי מי שאינו שופט את עצמו במה שהוא מאמין בו.

John 3:16-21 16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, F that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. G 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."
