will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart;

My
enemies turn back;
they
stumble and perish before you.

For
you have upheld my right and my cause;
you
have sat on your throne, judging righteously.
5
You
have rebuked the nations and destroyed the wicked;
you
have blotted out their name for ever and ever.

Endless
ruin has overtaken the enemy,
you
have uprooted their cities;
even
the memory of them has perished.

The
LORD reigns forever;
he
has established his throne for judgment.

He
will judge the world in righteousness;
he
will govern the peoples with justice.

The
LORD is a refuge for the oppressed,
a
stronghold in times of trouble.

Those
who know your name will trust in you,
for
you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.

Sing
praises to the LORD, enthroned in Zion;
proclaim
among the nations what he has done.

For
he who avenges blood remembers;

said, "I will watch my ways

when I was silent and still,
not
even saying anything good,
my
anguish increased.

My
heart grew hot within me,
and
as I meditated, the fire burned;
then
I spoke with my tongue:

"Show
me, O LORD, my life's end
and
the number of my days;
let
me know how fleeting is my life.
5
You
have made my days a mere handbreadth;
the
span of my years is as nothing before you.
Each
man's life is but a breath.

Man

Save
me, O God,
for
the waters have come up to my neck.

I
sink in the miry depths,
where
there is no foothold.

have come into the deep waters;

floods engulf me.

I
am worn out calling for help;
my
throat is parched.
My
eyes fail,
looking
for my God.

Those
who hate me without reason
outnumber
the hairs of my head;
many
are my enemies without cause,
those
who seek to destroy me.

am forced to restore
what
I did not steal.

You
know my folly, O God;

guilt is not hidden from you.

May
those who hope in you

For
I endure scorn for your sake,

people

who sit at the gate mock me,

But
I pray to you, O LORD,
in
the time of your favor;

answer
me with your sure salvation.

Rescue
me from the mire,
do
not let me sink;
deliver
me from those who hate me,
from
the deep waters.

Do
not let the floodwaters engulf me
or
the depths swallow me up
or
the pit close its mouth over me.

Answer
me, O LORD, out of the goodness of your love;
in
your great mercy turn to me.
17
Do
not hide your face from your servant;
answer
me quickly, for I am in trouble.

Come
near and rescue me;
redeem
me because of my foes.

You
know how I am scorned, disgraced and shamed;
all
my enemies are before you.

Scorn
has broken my heart [6]
and
has left me helpless;
I
looked for sympathy, but there was none,
for
comforters, but I found none.

They
put gall in my food
and
gave me vinegar for my thirst.

May
the table set before them become a snare;
may
it become retribution and A a trap.

May
their eyes be darkened so they cannot see,
and
their backs be bent forever.

Pour
out your wrath on them;
let
your fierce anger overtake them.
25
May
their place be deserted;
let
there be no one to dwell in their tents.

For
they persecute those you wound
and
talk about the pain of those you hurt.
27
Charge
them with crime upon crime;
do
not let them share in your salvation.
28
May
they be blotted out of the book of life
and
not be listed with the righteous.

I
am in pain and distress;
may
your salvation, O God, protect me.
30
I
will praise God's name in song
and
glorify him with thanksgiving.

This
will please the LORD more than an ox,
more
than a bull with its horns and hoofs.

The
poor will see and be glad--
you
who seek God, may your hearts live!

The

have greatly oppressed me from my youth--
let
Israel say--

they have not gained the victory over me.

Plowmen
have plowed my back
and
made their furrows long.

But
the LORD is righteous;
he
has cut me free from the cords of the wicked.

May
all who hate Zion
be
turned back in shame.

May
they be like grass on the roof,
which
withers before it can grow;

with
it the reaper cannot fill his hands,
nor
the one who gathers fill his arms.

those who pass by not say,

1
Wisdom has built her house;
she
has hewn out its seven pillars.
2
She
has prepared her meat and mixed her wine;
she
has also set her table.

She
has sent out her maids, and she calls
from
the highest point of the city.
4
"Let all who are simple come in
here!"
she
says to those who lack judgment.
5
"Come, eat my food
and
drink the wine I have mixed.
6 Leave
your simple ways and you will live;
walk
in the way of understanding.
7
"Whoever corrects a mocker invites
insult;
whoever
rebukes a wicked man incurs abuse.
8 Do
not rebuke a mocker or he will hate you;
rebuke
a wise man and he will love you.
9 Instruct
a wise man and he will be wiser still;
teach
a righteous man and he will add to his learning.
10
"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of
wisdom,
and
knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
11 For
through me your days will be many,
and
years will be added to your life.
12 If
you are wise, your wisdom will reward you;
if
you are a mocker, you alone will suffer."
13
The
woman Folly is loud;
she
is undisciplined and without knowledge.
14
She
sits at the door of her house,
on
a seat at the highest point of the city,
15
calling
out to those who pass by,
who
go straight on their way.

"Stolen water is sweet;
food
eaten in secret is delicious!"

OLD
TESTAMENT: ZECHARIAH 14:1 - 15:21

1
A
day of the LORD is coming when your plunder will be divided among you.
2
I
will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be
captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go
into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city.
3
Then
the LORD will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights in the day of
battle. 4 On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,
east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to
west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half
moving south. 5 You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will
extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake A in
the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all the
holy ones with him.
6
On
that day there will be no light, no cold or frost. 7 It will be a
unique day, without daytime or nighttime--a day known to the LORD. When evening
comes, there will be light.
8
On
that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half to the eastern sea
B and half to the western sea, C in summer and in winter.
9
The
LORD will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one LORD, and
his name the only name.
10
The
whole land, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become like the
Arabah. But Jerusalem will be raised up and remain in its place, from the
Benjamin Gate to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the
Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses. 11 It will be inhabited;
never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem will be secure.
12
This
is the plague with which the LORD will strike all the nations that fought
against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they
are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and
their tongues will rot in their mouths. 13 On that day men will be stricken by the LORD with great
panic. Each man will seize the hand of another, and they will attack each
other. 14 Judah too will fight at
Jerusalem. The wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected--great
quantities of gold and silver and clothing.
15
A
similar plague will strike the horses and mules, the camels and donkeys, and all
the animals in those camps.
16
Then
the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year
after year to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, and to celebrate the Feast of
Tabernacles. 17 If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to
Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, they will have no rain.
18 If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have
no rain. The LORDD will bring on them the plague he inflicts on the
nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. 19
This will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations
that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. [13]
20
On
that day HOLY TO THE LORD will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, and the
cooking pots in the LORD's house will be like the sacred bowls in front of the
altar. 21 Every pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the LORD
Almighty, and all who come to sacrifice will take some of the pots and cook in
them. And on that day there will no longer be a Canaanite E in the
house of the LORD Almighty. [14]

TESTAMENT: REVELATIONS 20:1 -

1
And
I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and
holding in his hand a great chain. 2 He seized the dragon, that
ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.
3 He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to
keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended.
After that, he must be set free for a short time.
4
I
saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge.
And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony
for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or
his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They
came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 (The rest of
the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the
first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy are those who have part in the
first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be
priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.
7
When
the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8
and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the
earth--Gog and Magog--to gather them for battle. In number they are like the
sand on the seashore. 9 They marched across the breadth of the earth
and surrounded the camp of God's people, the city he loves. But fire came down
from heaven and devoured them. 10 And the devil, who deceived them,
was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false
prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11
Then
I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from
his presence, and there was no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead,
great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book
was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what
they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead
that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and
each person was judged according to what he had done. 14 Then death
and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second
death. 15 If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life,
he was thrown into the lake of fire.[15]
