1 Help,
LORD;
for
the godly man ceases.
For
the faithful fail from among the children of men.
2 Everyone
lies to his neighbor.
With
flattering lips, and with a double heart, do they speak.
3 May
the LORD cut off all flattering lips,
And
the tongue that boasts,
4 Who
have said, "With our tongue will we prevail.
Our
lips are our own. Who is lord over us?"
5 "Because
of the oppression of the weak and because of the groaning of the
needy,
I
will now arise," says the LORD;
"I
will set him in safety from those who malign him."
6 The
words of the LORD are flawless words,
As
silver refined in a clay furnace, purified seven times.
7 You
will keep them, LORD,
You
will preserve them from this generation forever.
8 The
wicked walk on every side,
When
what is vile is exalted among the sons of men.

1 As
the deer pants for the water brooks,
So
pants my soul after you, God.
How
I used to go with the crowd, and led them to the house of God,
With
the voice of joy and praise, a multitude keeping a holy day.
Why
are you disturbed within me?
Hope
in God!
For
I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence.
Therefore
I remember you from the land of the Yarden,
The
heights of Hermon, from the hill Mitz`ar.
All
your waves and your billows have swept over me.
In
the night his song shall be with me:
A
prayer to the God of my life.
9 I
will ask God, my rock,
"Why
have you forgotten me?
Why
do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?"
10 As
with a sword in my bones, my adversaries reproach me,
While
they continually ask me, "Where is your God?"
11 Why
are you in despair, my soul?
Why
are you disturbed within me?
Hope
in God!
For
I shall still praise him,
The
saving help of my countenance, and my God.

1 God,
give the king your justice;
Your
righteousness to the royal son.
He
will save the children of the needy,
And
will break the oppressor in pieces.
The
kings of Sheva and Seva shall offer gifts.
12 For
he will deliver the needy when he cries;
The
poor, who has no helper.
13 He
will have pity on the poor and needy.
He
will save the souls of the needy.
14 He
will redeem their soul from oppression and violence.
Their
blood will be precious in his sight.
15 They
shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheva.
Men
shall pray for him continually.
They
shall bless him all day long.
16 There
shall be abundance of grain throughout the land.
Its
fruit sways like Levanon.
Let
it flourish, thriving like the grass of the field.
17 His
name endures forever.
His
name continues as long as the sun.
Men
shall be blessed by him.
All
nations will call him blessed.
18 Praise
be to the LORD God, the God of Yisra'el,
Who
alone does marvelous deeds.
19 Blessed
be his glorious name forever!
Let
the whole eretz be filled with his glory!
Amein
and amein.
20 This
ends the prayers by David, the son of Yishai.

Hear
my prayer, LORD! Let my cry come to you.
Turn
your ear to me.
Answer
me quickly in the day when I call.
For
it is time to have pity on her.
Yes,
the set time has come.
A
people which will be created will praise the LORD.
21 That
men may declare the name of the LORD in Tziyon,
And
his praise in Yerushalayim;
22 When
the peoples are gathered together,
The
kingdoms, to serve the LORD.
23 He
weakened my strength along the course.
He
shortened my days.
24
I
said, "My God, don't take me away in the midst of my days.
Your
years are throughout all generations.
25 Of
old, you laid the foundation of the eretz.
The
heavens are the work of your hands.
26
They
will perish, but you will endure.
Yes,
all of them will wear out like a garment.
You
will change them like a cloak, and they will be changed.
27 But
you are the same.
Your
years will have no end.
28 The
children of your servants will continue.
Their
seed will be established before you."

1 LORD,
remember David and all his affliction,
He
will not turn from it:
"I
will set the fruit of your body on your throne.
My
testimony that I will teach them,
Their
children also will sit on your throne forevermore."

1 Whoever
loves correction loves knowledge,
But
he who hates reproof is stupid.
But
the speech of the upright rescues them.
Than
he who honors himself, and lacks bread.
But
he who chases fantasies is void of understanding.
The
doings of a man's hands shall be rewarded to him.
OLD
TESTAMENT:
EZEKIEL 1:1 - 3:15
1:1 Now
it happened in the thirtieth year, in the fourth [month], in the
fifth [day] of the month, as I was among the captives by the river
Kevar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God. 2
In
the fifth [day] of the month, which was the fifth year of king
Yehoiakim's captivity, 3 the
word of the LORD came expressly to Yechezkel the Kohen, the son of
Buzi, in the land of the Kasdim by the river Kevar; and the hand of
the LORD was there on him. 4 I
looked, and, behold, a stormy wind came out of the north, a great
cloud, with flashing lightning, and a brightness round about it, and
out of the midst of it as it were glowing metal, out of the midst of
the fire. 5 Out
of the midst of it came the likeness of four living creatures. This
was their appearance: they had the likeness of a man. 6 Everyone
had four faces, and everyone of them had four wings.
7
Their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like
the sole of a calf's foot; and they sparkled like burnished
brass. 8 They
had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and
they four had their faces and their wings [thus]: 9 their
wings were joined one to another; they didn't turn when they went;
they went everyone straight forward. 10
As
for the likeness of their faces, they had the face of a man; and
they four had the face of a lion on the right side; and they four
had the face of an ox on the left side; they four had also the face
of an eagle. 11
Their
faces and their wings were separate above; two [wings] of everyone
were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies. 12 They
went everyone straight forward: where the spirit was to go, they
went; they didn't turn when they went. 13 As
for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like
burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches: [the fire]
went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was
bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning. 14 The
living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of
lightning. 15 Now
as I saw the living creatures, behold, one wheel on the eretz beside
the living creatures, for each of the four faces of it. 16 The
appearance of the wheels and their work was like a bareket: and they
four had one likeness; and their appearance and their work was as it
were a wheel within a wheel. 17
When
they went, they went in their four directions: they didn't turn when
they went. 18 As
for their rims, they were high and dreadful; and they four had their
rims full of eyes round about. 19 When
the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them; and when the
living creatures were lifted up from the eretz, the wheels were
lifted up. 20 Wherever
the spirit was to go, they went; there was the spirit to go: and the
wheels were lifted up beside them; for the spirit of the living
creature was in the wheels. 21
When
those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when
those were lifted up from the eretz, the wheels were lifted up
beside them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the
wheels. 22 Over
the head of the living creature there was the likeness of an
expanse, like the awesome crystal to look on, stretched forth over
their heads above. 23 Under
the expanse were their wings straight, the one toward the other:
everyone had two which covered on this side, and every one had two
which covered on that side, their bodies. 24 When
they went, I heard the noise of their wings like the noise of great
waters, like the voice of Shaddai, a noise of tumult like the noise
of a host: when they stood, they let down their wings. 25 There
was a voice above the expanse that was over their heads: when they
stood, they let down their wings. 26
Above
the expanse that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne,
as the appearance of a sappir stone; and on the likeness of the
throne was a likeness as the appearance of a man on it above. 27
I
saw as it were glowing metal, as the appearance of fire within it
round about, from the appearance of his loins and upward; and from
the appearance of his loins and downward I saw as it were the
appearance of fire, and there was brightness round about him. 28 As
the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain,
so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the
appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. When I saw it,
I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.
2:1 He
said to me, Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak with
you. 2 The
Spirit entered into me when he spoke to me, and set me on my feet;
and I heard him who spoke to me. 3 He
said to me, Son of man, I send you to the children of Yisra'el, to
nations that are rebellious, which have rebelled against me: they
and their fathers have transgressed against me even to this very
day. 4 The
children are impudent and stiff-hearted: I do sent you to them; and
you shall tell them, Thus says the Lord GOD. 5
They,
whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are
a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there has been a prophet
among them. 6
You,
son of man, don't be afraid of them, neither be afraid of their
words, though briers and thorns are with you, and you do dwell among
scorpions: don't be afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their
looks, though they are a rebellious house. 7 You
shall speak my words to them, whether they will hear, or whether
they will forbear; for they are most rebellious. 8 But
you, son of man, hear what I tell you; don't be you rebellious like
that rebellious house: open your mouth, and eat that which I give
you. 9 When
I looked, behold, a hand was put forth to me; and, behold, a scroll
of a book was therein; 10 He
spread it before me: and it was written within and without; and
there were written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.
3:1 He
said to me, Son of man, eat that which you find; eat this scroll,
and go, speak to the house of Yisra'el. 2 So
I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat the scroll. 3 He
said to me, Son of man, cause your belly to eat, and fill your
bowels with this scroll that I give you. Then did I eat it; and it
was in my mouth as honey for sweetness. 4 He
said to me, Son of man, go, get you to the house of Yisra'el, and
speak with my words to them. 5 For
you are not sent to a people of a strange speech and of a hard
language, but to the house of Yisra'el; 6 not
to many peoples of a strange speech and of a hard language, whose
words you can not understand. Surely, if I sent you to them, they
would listen to you. 7 But
the house of Yisra'el will not listen to you; for they will not
listen to me: for all the house of Yisra'el are of hard forehead and
of a stiff heart. 8 Behold,
I have made your face hard against their faces, and your forehead
hard against their foreheads. 9 As
an adamant harder than flint have I made your forehead: don't be
afraid of them, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they are
a rebellious house. 10 Moreover
he said to me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak to you
receive in your heart, and hear with your ears. 11 Go,
get you to them of the captivity, to the children of your people,
and speak to them, and tell them, Thus says the Lord GOD; whether
they will hear, or whether they will forbear. 12 Then
the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me the voice of a great
rushing, [saying], Blessed be the glory of the LORD from his
place. 13
[I
heard] the noise of the wings of the living creatures as they
touched one another, and the noise of the wheels beside them, even
the noise of a great rushing. 14 So
the Spirit lifted me up, and took me away; and I went in bitterness,
in the heat of my spirit; and the hand of the LORD was strong on me.
15 Then
I came to them of the captivity at Tel-Aviv, that lived by the river
Kevar, and to where they lived; and I sat there overwhelmed among
them seven days.
NEW
TESTAMENT:
HEBREWS 3:1 - 19
1 Therefore,
holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle
and Kohen Gadol of our confession, Yeshua;
2 who
was faithful to him who appointed him, as also was Moshe in all his
house.
3 For
he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moshe, by so much as
he who built the house has more honor than the house.
4
For
every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is
God.
5 Moshe
indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony
of those things which were afterward to be spoken,
6 but
Messiah as a Son, over his house; whose house are we, if we hold
fast our boldness and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.
7
Therefore,
even as the Ruach HaKodesh says, "Today if you will hear his
voice,
8 Don't
harden your hearts, as in the provocation, Like as in the day of the
trial in the wilderness,
9 Where
your fathers tested me by proving me, And saw my works for forty
years.
10 Therefore
I was displeased with that generation, And said, 'They always err in
their heart, But they didn't know my ways;'
11 As
I swore in my wrath, 'They will not enter into my rest.'"
12 Beware,
brothers, lest perhaps there will be in any one of you an evil heart
of unbelief, in falling away from the living God;
13 but
exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called "today;"
lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
14 For
we have become partakers of Messiah, if we hold fast the beginning
of our confidence firm to the end:
15 while
it is said, "Today if you will hear his voice, Don't harden
your hearts, as in the provocation."
16 For
who, when they heard, did provoke? No, didn't all those who came out
of Mitzrayim by Moshe?
17 With
whom was he displeased forty years? Wasn't it with those who sinned,
whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
18 To
whom did he swear that they should not enter into his rest, but to
those who were disobedient?
19 We
see that they were not able to enter in because of unbelief.
John 3:16-21 16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, F that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.G 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."
