PSALMS:

1 LORD,
my God, I take refuge in you.
Save
me from all those who pursue me, and deliver me,
2 Lest
they tear apart my soul like a lion,
Rending
it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
3 LORD,
my God, if I have done this,
If
there is iniquity in my hands,
4 If
I have rewarded evil to him who was at shalom with me
(Yes,
I have delivered him who without cause was my adversary),
5 Let
the enemy pursue my soul, and overtake it;
Yes,
let him tread my life down to the eretz,
And
lay my glory in the dust. Selah.
6 Arise,
LORD, in your anger.
Lift
up yourself against the rage of my adversaries.
Awake
for me. You have commanded judgment.
7 Let
the congregation of the peoples surround you.
Rule
over them on high.
8 The
LORD administers judgment to the peoples.
Judge
me, LORD, according to my righteousness,
And
to my integrity that is in me.
9 Oh
let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end,
But
establish the righteous;
Their
minds and hearts are searched by the righteous God.
10 My
shield is with God,
Who
saves the upright in heart.
11 God
is a righteous judge,
Yes,
a God who has indignation every day.
12 If
a man doesn't relent, he will sharpen his sword;
He
has bent and strung his bow.
13 He
has also prepared for himself the instruments of death.
He
makes ready his flaming arrows.
14
Behold,
he travails with iniquity;
Yes,
he has conceived mischief and brought forth falsehood.
15 He
has dug a hole,
And
has fallen into the pit which he made.
16 The
trouble he causes shall return to his own head.
His
violence shall come down on the crown of his own head.
17 I
will give thanks to the LORD according to his righteousness,
And
will sing praise to the name of the LORD Elyon.
PSALMS:
37
1 Don't
fret because of evil-doers,
Neither
be envious against those who work unrighteousness.
Don't
fret because of him who prospers in his way,
Because
of the man who makes wicked plots happen.
Yes,
though you look for his place, he isn't there.
and
have bent their bow,
To
cast down the poor and needy,
To
kill those who are upright in the way.
18 The
LORD knows the days of the perfect.
Their
inheritance shall be forever.
19 They
shall not be put to shame in the time of evil.
In
the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
20 But
the wicked shall perish.
The
enemies of the LORD shall be like the beauty of the fields.
They
will vanish -- Vanish like smoke.
21 The
wicked borrow, and don't pay back,
But
the righteous give generously.
22 For
such as are blessed by him shall inherit the land.
Those
who are cursed by him shall be cut off.
23 A
man's goings are established by the LORD.
He
delights in his way.
24 Though
he stumble, he shall not fall,
For
the LORD holds him up with his hand.
25 I
have been young, and now am old,
Yet
I have not seen the righteous forsaken,
Nor
his children begging for bread.
26 All
day long he deals graciously, and lends.
His
seed is blessed.
27 Depart
from evil, and do good;
Live
securely forever.
28 For
the LORD loves justice,
And
doesn't forsake his holy ones.
They
are preserved forever,
But
the children of the wicked shall be cut off.
29 The
righteous shall inherit the land,
And
live in it forever.
30 The
mouth of the righteous talks of wisdom.
His
tongue speaks justice.
31 The
law of his God is in his heart.
None
of his steps shall slide.
32 The
wicked watches the righteous,
And
seeks to kill him.
33 The
LORD will not leave him in his hand,
Nor
condemn him when he is judged.
34 Wait
for the LORD, and keep his way,
And
he will exalt you to inherit the land.
When
the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.
35 I
have seen the wicked in great power,
Spreading
himself like a green tree in its native soil.
36 But
he passed away, and, behold, he was not.
Yes,
I sought him, but he could not be found.
37 Mark
the perfect man, and see the upright,
For
there is a future for the man of shalom.
38 As
for transgressors, they shall be destroyed together.
The
future of the wicked shall be cut off.
39 But
the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD.
He
is their stronghold in the time of trouble.
40 The
LORD helps them, and rescues them.
He
rescues them from the wicked, and saves them,
Because
they have taken refuge in him.
PSALMS:

1
May God be merciful to us, bless us,
And
cause his face to shine on us. Selah.
For
you will judge the peoples with equity,
And
govern the nations on eretz.
Selah.
PSALMS:

1 The
LORD reigns!
Let
the eretz rejoice.
Let
the multitude of islands be glad.
At
the presence of the Lord of the whole eretz.
Who
boast in their idols.
Worship
him, all you gods!
He
preserves the souls of his holy ones.
He
delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

1
Unless the LORD builds the house,
They
labor in vain who build it.
Unless
the LORD watches over the city,
The
watchman guards it in vain.
To
stay up late, Eating the bread of toil;
For
he gives sleep to his loved ones.
They
won't be put to shame when they speak with their enemies in the
gate.
PROVERBS:

1 My
son, keep my words.
Lay
up my mitzvot within you.
As
a bird hurries to the snare,
And
doesn't know that it will cost his life.
OLD
TESTAMENT: JEREMIAH 51:1 - 53
51:1 Thus
says the LORD: Behold, I will raise up against Bavel, and against
those who dwell in Lev-Kamai, a destroying wind.
2 I
will send to Bavel strangers, who shall winnow her; and they shall
empty her land: for in the day of trouble they shall be against her
round about.
3 Against
[him who] bends let the archer bend his bow, and against [him who]
lifts himself up in his coat of mail: and don't you spare her young
men; destroy you utterly all her host.
4 They
shall fall down slain in the land of the Kasdim, and thrust through
in her streets.
5 For
Yisra'el is not forsaken, nor Yehudah, of his God, of the LORD of
Hosts; though their land is full of guilt against the Holy One of
Yisra'el.
6 Flee
out of the midst of Bavel, and save every man his life; don't be cut
off in her iniquity: for it is the time of the LORD's vengeance; he
will render to her a recompense.
7 Bavel
has been a golden cup in the LORD's hand, who made all the eretz
drunken: the nations have drunk of her wine; therefore the nations
are mad.
8 Bavel
is suddenly fallen and destroyed: wail for her; take balm for her
pain, if so be she may be healed.
9 We
would have healed Bavel, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let
us go everyone into his own country; for her judgment reaches to
heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.
10 The
LORD has brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare
in Tziyon the work of the LORD our God.
11 Make
sharp the arrows; hold firm the shields: the LORD has stirred up the
spirit of the kings of the Madai; because his purpose is against
Bavel, to destroy it: for it is the vengeance of the LORD, the
vengeance of his temple.
12 Set
up a standard against the walls of Bavel, make the watch strong, set
the watchmen, prepare the ambushes; for the LORD has both purposed
and done that which he spoke concerning the inhabitants of Bavel.
13 You
who dwell on many waters, abundant in treasures, your end is come,
the measure of your covetousness.
14 The
LORD of Hosts has sworn by himself, [saying], Surely I will fill you
with men, as with the canker-worm; and they shall lift up a shout
against you.
15 He
has made the eretz by his power, he has established the world by his
wisdom, and by his understanding has he stretched out the heavens:
16 when
he utters his voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, and
he causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the eretz; he makes
lightnings for the rain, and brings forth the wind out of his
treasuries.
17 Every
man is become brutish [and is] without knowledge; every goldsmith is
put to shame by his image; for his molten image is falsehood, and
there is no breath in them.
18 They
are vanity, a work of delusion: in the time of their visitation they
shall perish.
19 The
portion of Ya`akov is not like these; for he is the former of all
things; and [Yisra'el] is the tribe of his inheritance: the LORD of
Hosts is his name.
20 You
are my battle-ax and weapons of war: and with you will I break in
pieces the nations; and with you will I destroy kingdoms;
21
and
with you will I break in pieces the horse and his rider;
22 and
with you will I break in pieces the chariot and him who rides
therein; and with you will I break in pieces man and woman; and with
you will I break in pieces the old man and the youth; and with you
will I break in pieces the young man and the virgin;
23 and
with you will I break in pieces the shepherd and his flock; and with
you will I break in pieces the farmer and his yoke [of oxen]; and
with you will I break in pieces governors and deputies.
24 I
will render to Bavel and to all the inhabitants of Kasdim all their
evil that they have done in Tziyon in your sight, says the LORD.
25 Behold,
I am against you, destroying mountain, says the LORD, which destroy
all the eretz; and I will stretch out my hand on you, and roll you
down from the rocks, and will make you a burnt mountain.
26 They
shall not take of you a stone for a corner, nor a stone for
foundations; but you shall be desolate for ever, says the LORD.
27 Set
up a standard in the land, blow the shofar among the nations,
prepare the nations against her, call together against her the
kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashkenaz: appoint a marshal against
her; cause the horses to come up as the rough canker-worm.
28 Prepare
against her the nations, the kings of the Madai, the governors of
it, and all the deputies of it, and all the land of their dominion.
29 The
land trembles and is in pain; for the purposes of the LORD against
Bavel do stand, to make the land of Bavel a desolation, without
inhabitant.
30 The
mighty men of Bavel have forborne to fight, they remain in their
strongholds; their might has failed; they are become as women: her
dwelling-places are set on fire; her bars are broken.
31 One
post shall run to meet another, and one messenger to met another, to
show the king of Bavel that his city is taken on every quarter:
32 and
the passages are seized, and the reeds they have burned with fire,
and the men of war are frightened.
33 For
thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Yisra'el: The daughter of
Bavel is like a threshing floor at the time when it is trodden; yet
a little while, and the time of harvest shall come for her.
34 Nevukhadretztzar
the king of Bavel has devoured me, he has crushed me, he has made me
an empty vessel, he has, like a monster, swallowed me up, he has
filled his maw with my delicacies; he has cast me out.
35 The
violence done to me and to my flesh be on Bavel, shall the
inhabitant of Tziyon say; and, My blood be on the inhabitants of
Kasdim, shall Yerushalayim say.
36 Therefore
thus says the LORD: Behold, I will plead your cause, and take
vengeance for you; and I will dry up her sea, and make her fountain
dry.
37Bavel
shall become heaps, a dwelling-place for jackals, an astonishment,
and a hissing, without inhabitant.
38 They
shall roar together like young lions; they shall growl as lions'
whelps.
39 When
they are heated, I will make their feast, and I will make them
drunken, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not
wake, says the LORD.
40 I
will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams with
male goats.
41 How
is Sheshakh taken! and the praise of the whole eretz seized! how is
Bavel become a desolation among the nations!
42 The
sea is come up on Bavel; she is covered with the multitude of the
waves of it.
43 Her
cities are become a desolation, a dry land, and a desert, a land in
which no man dwells, neither does any son of man pass thereby.
44 I
will execute judgment on Bel in Bavel, and I will bring forth out of
his mouth that which he has swallowed up; and the nations shall not
flow any more to him: yes, the wall of Bavel shall fall.
45 My
people, go you out of the midst of her, and save yourselves every
man from the fierce anger of the LORD.
46 Don't
let your heart faint, neither fear for the news that shall be heard
in the land; for news shall come one year, and after that in another
year [shall come] news, and violence in the land, ruler against
ruler.
47 Therefore,
behold, the days come, that I will execute judgment on the engraved
images of Bavel; and her whole land shall be confounded; and all her
slain shall fall in the midst of her.
48 Then
the heavens and the eretz, and all that is therein, shall sing for
joy over Bavel; for the destroyers shall come to her from the north,
says the LORD.
49 As
Bavel has caused the slain of Yisra'el to fall, so at Bavel shall
fall the slain of all the land.
50 You
who have escaped the sword, go you, don't stand still; remember the
LORD from afar, and let Yerushalayim come into your mind.
51 We
are confounded, because we have heard reproach; confusion has
covered our faces: for strangers are come into the sanctuaries of
the LORD's house.
52 Therefore,
behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will execute judgment
on her engraved images; and through all her land the wounded shall
groan.
53 Though
Bavel should mount up to the sky, and though she should fortify the
height of her strength, yet from me shall destroyers come to her,
says the LORD.
NEW
TESTAMENT:
TITUS 2:1 - 15
2:1 But
say the things which fit the sound doctrine,
John 3:16-21 16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, F that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.G 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."
